♥ BODY & APPEARANCE;

⒈ １．Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Madoka is the shortest member of the cast, excluding her four-year-old brother. The production notes pin her at 152 cm/5'0", but in the official character survey, Madoka herself answers that she is less than 150 cm/4'11". She's apparently never taken her own three measures. She wears a size 5.5 shoe in US women's sizes. Her figure is mostly petite, corresponding to her small stature.

Madoka is 14 years old. Her birthday is October 3rd.

⒊ ３．Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She carries herself very tall and upright, at least when walking. She has a tendency to shrink back and crouch when she feels cornered, but that is generally only when sitting down.

⒋ ４．How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
To the untrained eye, Madoka's health is perfect. She has no noticeable physical conditions. However, her soul is actually removed from her body, set in a gemstone she wears on a ring, to anyone with the ability to see this.

⒌ ５．How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Madoka's normally very light on her feet very graceful, except in times of high emotion (when she's nervous, scared, anxious), she turns into a complete klutz, tripping over her own two feet, her steps becoming less long and graceful and more frantic and clipped. Otherwise, she doesn't seem to have any problems in this area, able to get on her feet from a sitting position fairly quickly.

⒍ ６．How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive himself in the mirror?
Madoka, by common standards, is very "cute" but your mileage may vary on whether or not she is "attractive". A few of her friends do make comments about her amounting to "she's adorable" with Sayaka being the loudest contender. Madoka herself generally has a low or nonexistent opinion about her own attractiveness. She doesn't care for her picture being taken, and she doesn't like looking in mirrors when she doesn't have to.

She's fairly pale, and her complexion overall is perfect. She does have a scar on the palm of her right hand, from a gunshot wound.

８． Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Madoka's hair is a carnation-pink color, hanging down to her shoulders. She usually keeps it tied up with two thin red ribbons during the daytime. In Puella Magi form, she swaps her regular ribbons for big, foofy, red bows. In goddess form, her hair becomes much longer, reaching down to the soles of her feet, and her regular ribbons are again traded in, this time for thick white bows.

９． What color are her eyes?
Normally, they are a pinkish-red. When in her goddess form, they turn bright gold.

Nope!

１１．What are her chief tension centers?
Her arms most definitely, perhaps with a focus on her elbows and wrists/hands.

１２．What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Her casual clothes vary, though in the series she's almost either seem in 1) her school uniform, or 2) her Puella Magi outfit. For the few times we've seen her in regular clothes, her actual "style" of dress fluctuates from being modest/conservative and rather showy. She's worn, in official art: an opera-style dress with gloves and lace-up heels [1], a black-and-pink polo shirt over her school skirt [2], a pink-and-red sweater over a frilly white dress shirt with a polka-dotted skirt and frilly pink socks with strappy red shoes [3], a red plaid dress with a white sweater underneath [4]; a variety of other items have been seen in background shots. She seems to own six or seven different bathing suits, but one signature pair of pajamas: yellow, with a red ribbon tied on the collar, and a pink robe over it [5]. Madoka also has a simple yellow kimono printed with red, pink, and blue flowers, and a standard archery uniform.

Her clothes always seem a teensy bit loose on her, but that's simply her dressing style. She seems to be comfortable enough.

Her Puella Magi uniform is a lot different from her school uniform, obviously. It has a lot more details and frills, and this seems to carry over to her casual style of dress--yellows and reds and pinks with ribbons littered wherever.
